What exactly is DATE?
DATE is a Superior Cola brewed from roasted date seeds — the part of the date palm that’s been used as a coffee-style beverage for thousands of years across the Middle East and North Africa. We roast the seeds, brew them, and build a clean cola around that base.
The result tastes familiar — like a great cola — but the engine underneath is ancient.
Does it have caffeine?
No. DATE is naturally caffeine-free. Date seed brew doesn’t contain caffeine the way coffee or tea does, so you get the rich, roasted flavor without the buzz or the crash.
How much sugar is in a can?
Zero grams of added sugar. DATE is built to be a daily-drinkable cola without the spike.
How many calories?
15 calories per 12 oz can.
What does it taste like?
Cola you recognize, with a deeper roast and a softer finish. Less candy, more character. The date seed brings warmth and a light caramel note that most colas spend a lot of sugar trying to fake.
The honest answer: try one. The 4-Pack exists for exactly that reason.
Are there allergens?
DATE is gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free. Date seeds are the pit of the date fruit, not a tree nut, but if you have any specific concerns please email us and we’ll share the full spec sheet.
What does it cost?
$3.49 per can, both ways:
· 4-Pack — $13.96
· 12-Pack — $41.88
No surcharge for the smaller pack. We’d rather make it easy to try.
Where do you ship?
We ship to all 50 U.S. states. International is coming — if you’re outside the U.S. and want it, hit us on the contact form so we can prioritize your region.
How fast is shipping?
Orders arrive in 2-5 business days depending on your zip. You’ll get a tracking link by email the moment your order leaves our fulfillment center.
Shipping is a flat rate based on your order: $5.99 for a single 4-Pack, $6.99 for two 4-Packs, and $8.99 for a 12-Pack. Orders of 24 cans or more (two 12-Packs, or six 4-Packs) ship free. Subscription orders ship free, every month.
Is there a subscription?
Yes — 12-Pack monthly delivery with free shipping every month. For a limited time, your first 3 subscription orders are 50% off through July 31, 2026 — then 15% off every order after. Subscribe on any 12-Pack product page. Cancel anytime from your account. The subscriber discount can’t be combined with promotional codes (use whichever is bigger).

How do I manage my subscription?
Manage your subscription anytime from your account at dateseedsoda.com/account. From there you can:
- Pause or skip a delivery
- Change your delivery cadence
- Update your shipping address
- Change your payment method
- Update quantities
- Cancel — no questions asked
No emails, no phone calls. We’ll also email you a reminder a few days before each charge so you can adjust before the next shipment goes out.
To log in: enter the email you used at checkout. We’ll send you a one-time code — no password to remember.
Damaged in transit?
It happens. Send a photo to hello@dateseedsoda.com within 7 days of delivery and we’ll send a replacement at no charge.
Where can I find DATE in stores?
We’re rolling out to retail through 2026. The fastest way to know when DATE lands near you is to join the email list at the bottom of any page — we send a heads-up the week before each market goes live.
Do you sell wholesale, foodservice, or to restaurants?
Yes. If you operate a cafe, restaurant, gym, hotel, office program, or specialty grocery and want DATE on the menu or the shelf, use the contact form at the bottom of this page and we’ll send pricing and minimums.
